Sunwind 29 questions.

Dear All,

I am thinking about buying Sunwind 29 from Sweden and move that back to Poland on the bay of Gdansk.

What can I expect from the boat ? - are there some known design problems etc.. How easy it is to sail etc... I am wondering about it's "nautical skills":
- at what minimum angle wind it will go,
- how slow/fast it is ( on sails )

The boat looks very well as for 29' boats from the 80ties but it's really hard to find any opinions about how good bad is it.

What other boats should I consider and why?

I think it is an undervalued boat,
plenty of indoor space for its size
no silly compromises to fool any rule (like IOR)

I have sailed quite a bit against it in our 24 hour races, and I think it sails up to its LYS/SRS number

But I think it would be a lie to call it a buty.

I think you have to look for the standard problems that you have sith any boats that is over thirty years old - worn engine, old sails, old lines, old interior.
